Training considerations

Before diving into learning the Betty Blocks platform, please review the following prerequisites and course commitments.

Is Betty Blocks the right tool for you?

• Review the complexity matrix to help determine if the platform will meet your needs

Are you able to meet the requirements to build an application?

• Based on our initial experience, the ideal candidates for building their own application should have some development background
• Complete the attestation for the terms of service and conditions of use
• Complete the training outlined below

Are you ready for the commitment to training?

• Training for developers will cover:
  • Betty Blocks essentials
  • Common tasks
  • Advanced tasks
  • Building production applications
  • Moving applications to production

• Training will be:
  • For individuals:
    • Online self-paced
  • For teams/groups wishing to complete training together:
    • Completed in cohorts of 5 people maximum with a developer from the Low Code Solutions service team assigned to each cohort
    • Comprised of 5-8 hours per week of self-study in addition to two one-hour office hour sessions per week with your assigned developer
    • Expected to last 4-6 weeks depending on the cohort’s speed
  • Providing you with the knowledge to add low and medium complexity features to your application with little to no additional assistance
